Hi, I'm Benn Stone, a Melbourne wedding celebrant with a fun, laid-back approach. My ceremonies are relaxed and full of laughter, and they sound like the two of you.
Vows and ceremonies are personal, so I don't use tired or copied scripts. I write every ceremony from scratch, built around your story and your sense of humour.
Then we work on it together until it feels right. Some couples want it funny, others want it classy or intimate. Either way, the goal is a ceremony your guests are still talking about at the reception.

My job is to take the stress off you so you can actually enjoy the day.
I'm also one of the few celebrants in Melbourne who can stay on as your DJ and MC, so the person who marries you is the same one who gets everyone dancing afterwards.
Marriage Ceremony Process
I'll help you plan the music and the running order, and I'll keep it simple. You tell me what you love, and I'll take care of the rest.
Step 1 - Let's Meet and Plan Your Ceremony
Firstly, let's have a chat in person or video call and talk through what you have in mind. I will walk you through each stage step by step and put together all your ideas to get started.
I am 100% a wedding expert so there will be no question I do not know the answer to!
I will hand write your wedding ceremony to the tone and values that represent your style as a couple.
I have a professional and easy process to ensure we capture the essence of what you both dream of.

Step 2 - Writing Your Ceremony & Vows Together
Once I have crafted the ceremony, I will assist you with writing your vows and ensure we have all paperwork, music, run sheet, and specifics in order.
I will solemnise your marriage in accordance with Law and fulfil all my requirements and time frames to lodge your paperwork and even make sure I am wearing matchies on the big day!

Step 3 - Setting Up and Celebrating in Style
90% of my couples book me as their celebrant, DJ and MC.
For the ceremony, I bring a high-end PA system, so everyone hears every word. I can guarantee that.
It's rechargeable and runs for up to 20 hours, so outdoor ceremonies are no problem, and it comes with two wireless microphones. You can connect by Bluetooth to play any music you like during the ceremony. If you've booked a videographer, they can take a clean audio feed straight from the system, which makes a big difference to how your vows sound on the video.
If you're booking me for the reception too, I swap over to my full DJ setup once the ceremony's done. Two Bose speakers and a subwoofer, a Pioneer mixer, DJ lighting, and a wireless microphone for the speeches. It sounds fantastic, and it means you've got one less thing to organise on the day.
